CanadaGeeks - your friendly neighbourhood computer "depot"

CanadaGeeks refurbishes surplus computers and peripherals in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with the help of volunteers who want to learn about computer technology.

The computers and accessories are then distributed to individuals and organisations who otherwise would not be able to access computers, or who choose to reuse rather than purchase brand new gear.

In addition, we aim to:

1. REDUCE the number of computers going to landfill sites

2. PROVIDE training and experience with hardware maintenance and software installation

3. PROMOTE the use of Free/Open-Source Software

A New Joint Venture Project

CanadaGeeks is pleased to announce a joint venture with Flemingdon Park Ministry! The Ministry will be offering computers to people who are low-income and have registered for the Flemingdon Park Food Bank program. CanadaGeeks is pleased to be selected as the computer provider for such a worthy cause!
